Mariam Fakhreddine stars as a young woman of modest upbringing who discovers there is more to her family history than meets the eye. When a wealthy landowner passes away and is revealed as her true father, securing the inheritance she's owed draws her into a contest with her ruthless stepmother and uncle. Prolific period actors Kamal El-Shennawy and Hussein Reyadh also star in this compelling class drama about the struggle between privilege and honor.
