A Day of My Life - يوم من عمري

In this poignant melodrama that takes place over the course of an eventful day, a down-on-his-luck reporter played by the incomparable Abdel Halim Hafez falls in love with an attractive young heiress (actress Zubaida Tharwat) who is the focus of his most recent investigation. When he learns she's being forced into an arranged marriage, he begins to question where to draw the line between the story he's pursuing and his feelings for the young woman. This film debuted the very popular song Laughter, Games, Seriousness and Love, sung by Abdel Halim.

Portrayed against a calming blue background are Abdel Halim and Zubaida, in an embrace that shows passion, concern and drama all at once. Bold red titles and framing in yellow hint at the high stakes involved for both characters.
