Salwa In the Wind - سلوى في مهب الريح
$325.00 $440.00The enchanting Zubeida Tharwat is Salwa, a rural Egyptian girl who, after a series of family tragedies, is raised by her reckless mother. She befriends another seemingly lost young woman and faces temptations and moral tests that threaten to derail her from the better life she yearns for. This film is based on a novel by Mahmoud Taymour, which famously explored issues of morality and class from an analytical-psychological perspective.
Zubeida is featured prominently at the center of this attractive poster, surrounded by vividly colored arrows that indicate the different influences that pull her in a variety of directions. The symbolic and minimalistic design of this poster is very uncommon and, combined with the bright colors and clear image of Zubeida, make this an ideal collectible. Note that this poster is an unsigned second-edition poster that has a fairly similar design to the first edition.
