When an actress is found murdered after a party, a police investigation unravels a web of corruption and hidden crimes among her friends and acquaintances, highlighting the societal collapse and moral decay during Sadat’s open-door economic policy. Directed by Said Marzouk and based on Naguib Mahfouz’s novel, the film critiques the era's corruption and declining social values.
