Wild Flowers - زهور برية

Hussein Fahmy and Nadia Lufti, two of the most popular performers of their time, star as a couple whose relationship is in crisis. On their road trip leaving Egypt, they encounter people and situations that cause them to reflect on their lives and how they connect with the small, beautiful elements of Egypt and its people. This artful film is from the later end of the public-sector cinema era.

This is a tremendously uniquely styled poster, designed by artist Samir Thabet. The minimalist style depicts Nadia at center, almost unrecognizable as a Medusa/Siren-styled blond woman, decorated by Bedouin and floral motifs. A sketch of their wedding is shown in a small pink cameo, the same color used again for the title, against a dramatic black background. The style is a perfect match for modern or Bohemian interiors.
