In this magical and comical fable based on the novel The Heron by Ibrahim Aslan, Mahmoud Abdelaziz and Sherif Mounir star as a blind, non-conformist sheikh and his son, who embark on a series of often hilarious misadventures. This film from director Daoud Abdelsayed was selected as one of the top 100 Egyptian films of all time.

This poster from artist Eihab, who did not specialize in film posters, is a rarity in the Egyptian cinema. The style is whimsical and almost surreal, showing Mahmoud and Sherif flying on a motorcycle above the city, as the former strums his oud and sings.
