The Innocent - البريء
$575.00In one of the actor's most famous roles, Egyptian great Ahmed Zaki portrays Ahmad, a naive young peasant who joins the army as a wide-eyed recruit. He is trained to believe all political prisoners are hardened enemies of the state, who deserve no mercy. When he discovers that a patriotic friend from his hometown is one of the prisoners, he slowly begins to understand that not all is as it seems, and he begins to rebel against his warden's commands to torture and abuse the prisoners.
This poster features Zaki and co-stars Mahmoud Abdelaziz and Ilham Shaheen in the foreground, surrounded by a montage of action-packed images from the film. The colors are vivid and the style depicts the emotion and energy of the story. The title is rendered in a bold 3D style that emerges from the poster with urgency. This is a poster that successfully takes cues from contemporaneous Hollywood styles.
