The Shame - العار

$395.00

The death of Hagg Abdeltawwab, a respected spice merchant, in a car crash reveals a shocking secret: his wealth came from dealing hashish, not spices. His three sons face a moral dilemma about whether to continue the drug trade or abandon it. Kamal (Nour El-Sherif), already involved in the business, clashes with Shukri (Hussein Fahmy), a public prosecutor, while their brother Adel (Mahmoud Abdelaziz), a doctor treating drug addicts, tries to mediate. The family's internal conflict intensifies as they grapple with the moral implications of their father's hidden life, questioning their values and confronting hypocrisies.

The poster, designed by Anwar, prominently features the three brothers—Nour El-Sherif, Mahmoud Abdelaziz, and Hussein Fahmy—each illustrating their distinct personalities and internal conflicts, while Nora is depicted in a scene smoking a hookah she prepared for her husband. The minimalist yet powerful design captures the essence of the narrative and the intense emotional struggles faced by the characters.
