The Showgirl - فتاة الاستعراض
$495.00The performers and lead dancer (the beautiful Soad Hosny) in a musical group clash with a director, played by Hasan Youssef, following their open criticism to his work. The director's romantic feelings for Soad become the catalyst for reconciliation, and both sides overcome a variety of misconceptions and hurt feelings to come together in artistic harmony.
Soad Hosny is the focal point of this well-designed poster, dressed in the playful striped red and green dancer's outfit she wears in the film's Robabikia sketch (the artist probably had no color reference from the black & white film and had to make a creative guess). The title is playfully cut out and removed from its intended position to make way for Soad. The gentle light blue and pink colors of the poster make this an ideal décor item for pastel interiors.
