This film brings together the talents of actor Nour El-Sherif and actress Noura, two of the most respected Egyptian performers of the '70s and '80s. A photojournalist stumbles across the scheme of a gang of thieves that is smuggling priceless artifacts from Egypt. His pursuit of justice coincides with the police closing in. This film is an exemplar of the Egyptian neo-realist film movement of the early 1980s, which sought to shed light on corruption and decaying social values.
