Cairo Station - باب الحديد

A disabled newspaper vendor, Qinawi, becomes dangerously obsessed with Hannuma, a beautiful and impulsive lemonade seller. Set in Cairo's bustling central train station, the film uses the location as a metaphor for the characters' lives and struggles. Qinawi, played by director Youssef Chahine, watches the healthy and well-dressed crowds with growing resentment, while fantasizing about Hannuma, portrayed by Hind Rustom.
