In this powerful drama, simple conscript Ahmad (Ahmed Zaki) blindly follows orders at a harsh desert prison for political detainees. Under the brutal command of Lieutenant Sharkas (Mahmoud Abdelaziz), Ahmad participates in the cruelty until the arrival of an old friend forces him to question the morality of his actions and the nature of the regime he serves.
