The film was commissioned by President Gamal Abdel Nasser to showcase the bravery of the Egyptian people during the Tripartite Aggression of 1956. Directed by Izzeddine Zulfiqar and produced by Farid Shawqi, the film stars Farid Shawqi, Huda Sultan, Layla Fawzi, Shukry Sarhan, Amina Rizq, and Hussein Riyadh. It serves as both a historical recount and a patriotic tribute to the resilience of Port Said’s defenders.
