Blood on the Nile - دماء على النيل

In this classic revenge thriller, a blood feud between two Upper Nile families descends into a spiral of violence, bloodshed and murder. Hind Rostom plays Ghaliya, a woman determined to avenge her husband's murder. She tracks down the killer, Awad (played by screen legend Farid Shawqi), and prepares to exact her revenge, but comes to learn more about her husband and the shocking reason he was killed. This film was an important parable of the time from famed director Niazi Mustafa and warned about the evil and destruction caused by blood feud practices in rural areas.

The poster features a juxtaposition of striking colors and dramatic imagery, including impressive portraits of Shawqi and Rostom in their distinctive regional costumes. The vivid blue background matches the color of the Nile and the bold red title highlights the shocking violence at the core of the story. World-famous artist Vassiliou has created an image that would make an ideal interior décor element.
