Set in Cairo during the British occupation, Abdelgawad is a strict patriarch who tightly controls his family while secretly indulging in a double life of nightly escapades. The family's dynamics shift dramatically when his children challenge his authority, leading to revelations and conflict. Adapted from Naguib Mahfouz's "Cairo Trilogy," this film captures the tension between tradition and change.
