The Three Swindlers, Style B - النصابين الثلاثة

This Syrian-Egyptian comedy directed by Niazi Mustafa is from the early career of beloved comedy duo Duraid Lahham and Nihad Qalei, and also stars Taroub, Farid Shawqi, and Nabila Ebeid. A millionaire and his servant curiously live together as friends. When the millionaire has his money stolen and the servant becomes rich through an unlikely inheritance, their friendship is tested by this improbable reversal.

This alternative Syrian version of the poster from artist Nader Qaddour is a very rare find. A variety of scenes from the film are illustrated: Lahham and Qalei traipse in amusing outfits, while Taroub and Shawqi look on from above. A seductive image of Taroub in a revealing outfit adds some romantic appeal.
