The Great Love - الحب الكبير

Faten Hamama plays a young woman from a humble family who falls in love with a famous singer, portrayed by Farid Al-Atrash, who is involved with several other women. When she adopts a more cosmopolitan identity and sacrifices her reputation to save him from a scandal, he develops genuine feelings for her and their love blossoms. This film was directed by Henry Barakat, one of the most prominent directors in Egyptian film history.

A tidy burgundy frame contains a very well composed and artistically attractive design that evokes trendy designs that were popular in the late 1960s and early '70s. Faten is depicted as a fashionable woman of the period, with Farid observing from behind her. Smaller illustrations of a group of dancers and Farid add visual pop and the title appears on a blue background shaped like a musical note. This is the Lebanese edition of the poster, and was offset-lithographed in Italy.
